 Um you sure that's an xbox one controller? I don't think the make wired only ones. They're all wireless but can plug USB cable in them.

 

Then there's the updated version with 3.5mm jack for headphones.

Yes it's Xbox one, been using it one my one s with my 6 year old in Minecraft, has the 3.5mm jack too

Little bit off topic: do not throw your controllers away yet - there are new games which require more than one controller (with PC):

 

http://store.steampowered.com/app/467900 is cool when played by 4 people and it does require controller

I might be looking for a spare at some stage also.

Would want the wireless only personally.

They seem to be around $85 or so on special at the warehouse.
