Hi All, Plex has recently stopped supporting my old Synology NAS (DS214) so I need something new to run Plex Media Server on. From a bit of research online I think and Intel NUC i3 of similar would suit as I would like the ability to Transcode if required so I don't have to mess around with media types etc. as I am streaming stuff to a Roku.

Does anyone have something like this sitting around in a cupboard somewhere or holding up a monitor and is willing to sell it, smaller and cheaper the better really as I would like to put it in the bottom of a cupboard alongside my NAS.

I'm in Auckland but am happy to pay for shipping if required.

Any other details you think you might need please let me know.

Thanks,

I'm personally running a Plex server on an Odroid XU4 and it works perfect (even with transcoding). You could grab one off the Hardkernal website with a eMMC module (for the operating system - Linux) and the Cloudshell (for a 2.5" HDD) to make up your own NAS for Plex if you don't mind a little project :)
