I ended up getting mine for about $NZ 100 from amazon with NZ posts service, which wasn't too bad. Although I am a prime user, so that may have saved something, and they were on special at the time for $39.95 USD.

Yeah, you're probably best importing one

 

I purchased 2 units over the Christmas break when they were on special and the profit I made from selling one paid for both units.

oh yeah also use it for kitchen timers.  shopping list and timers.  

 

personally I think google home would be more useful, asking my android phone something usually gives me far better results than alexa....  just my experience.
