My spare PSU blew, so Im now powerless for a system I was building.

Anyone have a basic PSU they are happy to lose for a few beers or $$ ? :)

No after anything flash, 350W+, SATA power, etc etc.... its just for a Core 2 system.

I work in town (Symonds St) or else can pick up from around Whangaparaoa/Orewa/Silverdale after work.

TIA

I have got a lot of older PSUs and legacy stuff I would love to get rid of. Most PSUs are working though one or two may have issues. Most have at least some Sata connectors, and you can get adaptors for IDE connectors. There are two main problems: First, I am in Hawke's Bay. Second, I can't be 100% certain which PSUs are good and which may have faults. If I send you one, it would probably be okay but I can't guarantee it. However, I also have several older working computers so I can pull a PSU from one of those and that should avoid any problem. But again, no promises.

I am happy to send you one, no charge, if you can't find anything closer to home, so PM me if you get desperate and we can work out the details.

Ah. Poo. Have two but both are ATX, 300Watt with no SATA stuff.

Now that I have dragged them out, I'm not 100% sure one of them will work either.

Sorry 'bout that.
