Like most photographers, I have accumulated a fair few camera bags over the years and to be honest, it's getting to the point where an intervention might be required if I cannot cure myself.
Before going down the Trade Me route I thought I would see if anyone here wanted any of these:
- Billingham 550 - this bag is old (at least 30 years) and still going strong. It has a very lived in look but will go on at least 30 more years I am sure. Last time I was back in the UK, Billingham repaired some bits that needed re-stitching and replaced a broken zip (under warranty!) and replaced the entire interior with the current style as the old interior had lost the dividers etc. which were no longer obtainable. These bags new would cost at least $1000 here - so much, in fact, that the Billingham agent in NZ won't import any other than by special order. This one has been broken in and has character, so if you want to look like Steve McCurry or Indiana Jones, this is the bag for you! $400
- Think Tank Glass Taxi - a small backpack with internal fittings to transport a large lens (eg 300mm f2.8, 400mm f2.8) attached to a DSLR. Can be reconfigured as a small backpack for lighter gear or used as a small daypack. Think Tank have Lifetime Warranty on their bags. $120
- Think Tank Urban Disguise 50 - shoulder/travel bag with laptop compartment. Heaps of space for 2 DSLR bodies and assorted lenses etc. $150
Any questions etc let me know.
