Hi All,

I'm after some cisco gear so I can learn about building networks and maintaining them, I don't really know specifics but if it can help me learn about switches and routing then it would be much appreciated. Happy to pickup in or near Bay of Plenty temporarily but will be in the Wairarapa once we're back to Level 2 lockdown so could pickup in the Wellington region after lockdown

Cheers

I'm based in Paraparaumu and have a couple of old Cisco switches - Both Gigabit, One is a 24pt PoE switch while the other is a 24pt Gigabit. Both are running recent (but not latest) versions of iOS.

Yours if you want them, they're just taking up space otherwise. Due to size and weight I won't be shipping but if you wanted to drive over after lockdown you can take them off my hands.

Awesome thank you so much. If you can hold onto them for me until the lockdown finished that would be much appreciated and will send you a PM for when to pick up.

Late to the party, I have an aging cisco 10Mbit switch and two 3Com Switches that you're welcome to if you want.  (I expect no, as I've had them hanging about for ages ...)

I'm based in Napier, but would be happy to travel once in level 2 :-)

If you are travelling to Paraparaumu to get that gear off Michael, I can offer up a trio of 2950 switches and also a trio of 2600 series routers (these are older IOS 12 gear but you can still learn plenty on them)
