I've got a 500GB Samsung 850 Evo mSATA SSD, is $70 reasonable? Plus whatever freight is, should be an extra $10-15 for tracked courier depending on your location.

Where abouts are you based? I'm in Palmy.

I'm in Wellington, do you have an idea on the life expectancy for the samsung msata ssd? How old is it?  I was wondering about if I'm just being silly buying old hardware and should just add another regular SSD.

It's for my home server.

Not sure exactly how old it is, as it doesn't seem to have a date code on it, but the drive was announced in 2015, so at a guess 2015-2018.

I purchased this second hand, but it's in great shape & has hardly been used. According to the Samsung website, this drive is warranted for five years, or 150 TBW.

SMART info is showing that it's had 837GB written to it, or under 1% of its limit. It's only had 269 hours powered on.

More SMART info below:

Thanks, I noticed that MX500 2TB SSD was only $299 at pbtech, so I just decided to buy that and swap out my existing 500gb SSD.
