I have some excess wireless internet equipment due to our equipment being changed and no longer having a use for this.

I am based in Marlborough.

A Skinny B315s-608 Modem. I purchased this a while back from geekzone as a backup device and have never used it. Comes with ethernet cable and power adapter.

$40 plus shipping

Two 900 MHz 14dBi 4G Yagi Antenna with 10m of cable on each. These were connected to my old Netspeed B315 modem to improve signal reliability - which they absolutely did.

$75 plus shipping (they are long - around 1350mm - so shipping could be costly).

Where in Malborough are you? My in-laws are based in Whatamango Bay and looking for a solution for internet, I wondered if this might be a good option. They don't get any bars on Telecom with their mobile phone so could be a no go.

Yes - you still need some signal, though it could be at one spot like we had. Have a look at the RBI wireless maps for indicative coverage. For reference we were right on the very edge - did get some signal in the right spot which kind of worked - the added aerials locked in a good solid connection for us.
