Hello folks... We have now removed the old Geekzone server from our pool and want to sell it. Still a good machine that served Geekzone well until recently.

Acer Altos (SE7320VP2), Intel Xeon (Nocona, 3GHz, 32/64 bit), 3 GB RAM, 2x Seagate 70GB SCSI (10,000 RPM and 15,000 RPM), DVD R/W.

No Operating System license will be transferred. Currently running Windows Server 2008 SP2.

Below are some CPUZ screenshots:

As you can see the two SCSI drives are currently mirrored (software mirror) so you can use on a software mirror or up to 140GB storage:

This server is currently in Auckland, coming to Wellington this weekend - if you want it in Auckland speak soon!

It's 1U... Anything like $200 and up perhaps? I have someone on Twitter looking at it too.

It's located at ICONZ, Airedale St for collection, otherwise coming to Wellington soon.

I wouldn't mind seeing a photo of the old Geekzone server, would be nice to see what was running this before :)

PS, I have no interest on buying it, I just love seeing this kind of stuff :P

Peppery: $220 and I can pick it up tomorrow
I was the twitter bidder, but a number of things have conspirded against me taking this off Mauricio's hands at this time
- short notice on the pickup
- CPU doesn't support VT
- Justifying to the wife why I need "another bloody computer" for which I have no ready purpose.

Do you want to go ahead with that? Better if you complete the payment today, I can confirm that is all ok, and we meet on Wednesday at the data center - I am in Auckland then.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.
