I am after a dozen or so out-dated, hardcover self-paced training books from Microsoft Press, Sybex whoever. Happy to pay postage costs or can arrange to collect anywhere in the lower North Island (Taupo south).

Not sure exactly what you are after but how about:

"PC Secrets - 2nd Ed" by Caroline M Haliday, 834 pages, pub by IDG books, 1996, ISBN 1-56884-498-0

"Mastering Windows XP" by Mark Minasi, 1020 pages, pub by Sybex, 2001, ISBN 0-7821-2981-1

Sorry - these are not hardbacks.

Hardbacks are preferred but I may be able to use the larger 800+ pages softcover - will be in touch.

You must have one very crooked floor to need books of that size to stop your table wobbling :)

..... glue them all together in a pile, hollow out the inside and make a desktop case out of 'em?
