Here is a weird experience. I went for a bike ride. Before I left I start the bike option on Samsung health app to map and time my ride. I get back from the ride and forget to click finish on the app. I work in the garden for a couple of hours and then go for a ride in my neighbour's car. I left my phone at home and did not have any electronic gadgets on me. At a destination about 10 km away, I meet my brother and hop into his car and he drops me home. Now remember I had no phone or electronic gadgets on my person. I click finish on the bike ride in the Samsung health app on my Samsung phone, and guess what: the route map included the ride in my neighbour's car and in my brother's car. Locations mapped precisely.

How did it do it? All I can assume is that my neighbour and brother's phones were used to detect my presence by analyzing my voice and were then used to track my location, and the information was relayed to the Samsung Health App.

I was really shocked by this. I was being track without my own phone being present!

Has anybody else had this experience?

So no smartwatch or smart tag on you?

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

No. Nothing. No electronic devices at all. I was quite shocked that my exact route in two separate cars was tracked.

I wouldn’t be surprised with AI. People have said that they have talked about a certain topic, and then they get adverts for that topic despite never doing any internet search.   Dont think it would be able to happen in the Apple infrastructure with their privacy

My neighbour uses an iPhone. My brother and his wife use an iPhone and apple smartwatch.  It can only be those devices that tracked me. Although both cars were modern and network connected, so I guess we can't rule out the cars.

I think you can be tracked now without carrying a smart device yourself.  We are surrounded by them.
