Hi there,

long time reader,first time poster...

i have a Garmin GPS 72,

Does anyone know what settings i need to make it work properly,

it won't display the correct co-ords for a current location.

It's probably defaulted to WGS-84, in which case it's out by about 150m to the NW.
Try setting it to the NZ 1949 Geoid to get it to come right.

Or it is the reverse of those, as we now use a WGS-84 based datum I believe.
