Hi There.

Complete newbie here. Just been told by Orcon, that my broadband connection has been connected at home. But, when I call home from work, the phone only makes a beep, then cut off dead. Is this normal ? I have not yet receive the broadband modem and connect it to the computer, and the computer is no turn on. Why, is the phone doing funny thing.

regards

PC Tong

oh no. not another innocent that has the similar problem when I first join orcon....

If I were you, I will be with them to get it fixed as long as possible.. it is the porting problem from 1 network to orcon network...  it is the technican at Chrous who do the transferring network, but they never checked whether it is "actually" connected...

I have this problem before, and my transferring happen on Friday, due to the stuff up, i don't get it re-connect until Monday.. so i have no internet for the whole weekend and also, no phone for the whole weekend too.. It is like a 3rd world country...

Lucky caller diversion come to hand... i tell them to transfer my phone call to my mobile...

Hey PCtong, I will recorded how many days you are out of phone and out of internet, because you can actually ask for a credit for that....

Kind Regards
Jacky
