I will move houses and I was planning to get "the next big thing" at the new address, SS site shows it is available at the new address. Unfortunately the call centre advised there is a 2-4 weeks connection time, by the moment when you require to become their customer.

I would say this is quite a long time, considering Telecom and Woosh (my present ISP - wired broadband) they both confirmed the change will "continuous" from the old to the new address, with broadband being available in the nbext 1-2 days after the phone line is activated by Telecom.

Is it normal to expect such long processing time?
