Is CloudFlare significant? They have an Auckland node.

I'm genuinely not sure how much of the Cloudflare traffic this captures... There are other sources as well like APE

On that note Talkiet any plans for Spark to pair with Cloudflare in NZ? seems a shame to be using NZ - AU capacity (and additional latency) when much of the content is avalaible off their NZ CDN's, Geekzone is a good example.

The issue with Geekzone is it's just serving up html pages. By volume that's a small volume of traffic. If there was streaming video then it's a different story.
But Google (YouTube) and Akamai (TVNZ, TV3, SkyOD/NEON, Lightbox) are all delivering streaming video that's where the growth is.

Geekzone serves up both resources (images, scripts, css) and html pages via Cloudflare. Have in mind that our pages are light when compared to other NZ sources though. We have significantly less images than news sites and most of our resources are easily cached by both the CDN (in which case ISPs will see that traffic) but most importantly are also cached by the client browser (in which case you will see speed improvements but it's traffic that doesn't exist for what your ISP can tell).
