Anyone getting Download speeds this low?  This is beyond pathetic.  Way to go Orcon!  Pings gone from 40 to 69...
Was working great a couple weeks back.

I bet this morning it'll be back to normal. ...I found it to be at its worst last night. EA servers were almost unplayable.

As mentioned a few posts back, we are in the process of upgrading bandwidth into Aussie. These things take time unfortunately and caught us a bit off guard.

Should be all sorted this time next week.

USA and other destinations have a lot of spare capacity.

The Sydney speed must be very time dependent as I usually get same speed as to Auckland i.e. 27/9 on my 30/10 UFB connection.

My Youtube experience is much better over the last few days.

Pleased to see the work being done, Sounddude. Thanks.

constantly dropping from gmail/google chat, over and over and over, stays connected for 5-10 minutes, then drops, then reconnects within a few minutes, repeat.

My Sydney speeds have already dropped from 27 to 16Mb/s... Not going to bother gaming tonight, last night was horrible.

There was some Google outages recently, might be because of that.

It was happening most of yesterday too, however I know how non existent "help" is at Orcon so I pretty much just wait for things to eventually get fixed.

I wasn't at home so I cannot verify this but it sounds like your connection has problems (physically).

Nope I've been downloading, playing wow and connected on my ipad & xbox all without a single drop out, so there's nothing wrong connection wise (physically).
