Hmm, very slow tonight, pings to Sydney have shot up from 45 to 130+, come on Orcon! It really stuffs up gaming!

do you think i should put in a complaint to get my neighborhood fixed or did the engineer sound like its a general fix that should solve everyones speeds ?

(I'm on the 30/10 UFB plan). Wonder what happened? Before December international speeds were poor but there were changes made in Dec and these changes made huge differences to int speeds.

Now they are crap again. Weird.

@dspaceman. No need to complain as changes will affect all - hopefully for the better!

Lagging so badly in WoW at the moment. I've been sick the last few days so i'm sure it's probably been like that the last few days since the international went to !@$%.

I paid for an extra latency reducing service to see if it would help. It didn't help much.

Yeah in the past when Orcon have had problems I've used lowerping to get around the ms but then it started being fine without it. It's fine right now, but wasn't when I posted.

So Orcon, When are you going to come clean and admit the International fault you've been having with your MUX's in AKL/SYD/LA since the middle of Jan?

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

Had a complete outage to the USA at about 12.10am last night. Vent server in aussie was fine, National was fine, but nothing in the states worked.

Just had a sudden slowdown on 30/10 fibre on Orcon Unlimited...
Here's a speedtest to Sydney

Usually 26Mb/9Mb, 45ms...

Wow! Can't believe how slow XBL downloads are! Bought a game thats 6.2GB, started the download at 7:30, its just over 25% done. Beyond pathetic.

Ive brought like 10 games in the Xbox games on demand sale so far over the last week... still waiting for 6 of them to finish download. Could have downloaded them all 100x over on PC, just not on Xbox.
