We are aware that some customers with a Touch2Pay Samsung Galaxy S III who have updated to Android’s Jelly Bean 4.1.1 are experiencing issues with the Snapper widget saying ‘not found’ (when the phone has been turned off and back on again) or they can’t access the Snapper Mobile app as soon as they have loaded the phone. We are currently working on a solution and will update the app in Google Play once we have a fix. The root cause appears to be a timing issue related to the SIM Alliance Open Mobile API.
In the meantime, there is a workaround for this issue:
1. Remove the widget. To do this, hold the Snapper widget and move it to 'Delete' (Trash can)
2. Restart your phone
3. Once your phone has loaded completely, please wait 60 seconds before you try to access the Snapper Mobile app.
With the Snapper Mobile app you’ll be able to see your real-time Snapper balance, and access a detailed view of your Snapper. Please note, this issue won’t affect the ability to pay with your phone. If you haven’t already done so, we recommend that you tick ‘Allow automatic updating’ for the Snapper Mobile app in Google Play so that you’ll receive any Snapper Mobile app updates automatically when they become available.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
