In a security move by Slingshot people not with them for internet can not access the account page. Well this is all fine and dandy until a long comes an italk customer only....

Thanks Slingshot for the notification :-)

Anyway I now have no phone as I need to setup a new device and silly me I didn't note down the SIP password (which is different from the account logon) which I can get from the myaccount page.

I also can't manage the phone without that page. So I guess 2talk here I come :-)

Looks like we are just being ignored all together now.

When I joined slingshot they messed up porting my number from my previous telco so took about 3 months to get connected. This involved us calling them about once a week until it was fixed including us having to make back an forth calls between slingshot and our previous telco.

Now after that I haven't been able to change any of my settings. I understand I can do this over the phone but it's quite awkward.

It's quite worrying that they have had this problem for so long. It must be a major security vulnerability yet they are prioritising other work.

I went with slingshot because they had a slightly better plan than other providers. I'm not sure that was such a good idea now and maybe I should look for another provider.
