I had a VDSL install completed yesterday at my home, I watched the tech from Chorus do a very thorough job.

I immediately tested the line and it was great initially, with a slight improvement from my ADSL Down speed  and the UP was way higher.

He stated it could take 10 days for the VDSL to actually be completed, however since yesterday my speeds are dropping badly and my latency is brutal (BF4 servers showing pings of 500+).

I don't expect everything to work straight off the bat but my down speed sits at around 0.9Mbps currently. Really, should my connection speeds take this much of a hit switching over to VDSL?

All done now for that re-install Fire.

Many thanks for your help.

Speed is now ridiculous :). I can see the cabinet from my window.
