I've signed up to My Republic, install is this Friday. A new router arrived a while ago, and I already have a Fibre capable router (Innbox V51).

Before I open up the My Republic one, I thought I would check if it's fine to use an existing one, and find out which Router is the better (if there is much difference). The Router they supplied was a TP Link Archer C2.

Any people here used different routers for My Republic Fibre?

The C2 is cheap (~$100), but it does handle 200Mbps, even over WiFi.

I believe your router is more expensive than the C2, why don't you give it a try first?

As far as I know, MyRepublic is just DHCP, no VLAN, so setting it up on any equipment should be straightforward.
