i really really really hate it when companies do this.  The easiest way to pay anything these days are with credit cards.  Charging a fee for this as a customer really pisses me off.

 

Sure at the end of the day its only a couple of bucks, but its the principal.   No other ISP I know of charges a CC fee (I'm sure they might be some, please speak out if they do)

 

 

2degrees is committed to providing customers great value but due to ongoing third party banking and transactional fees we will be introducing a Card Payment Fee for all Credit and Debit card payments made against your 2degrees Broadband bill from 8 March 2017.

Got me looking at what I pay and where I could move to as well. I dont want 2 connections with the same ISP here so spark/bigpipe/skinny are out of the running, and wont deal with orcon or related brands because of many cases of terrible service from them, so that really only leaves vodafone and some of the bottom tier ISPs to choose from.

 

All this market consolidation has really screwed up choice.
