Hi all,

My brother has just tonight moved from Spark Fibre to 2 Degrees Fibre. Internet is working fine, but the landline (Well VOIP) is not working at all
The 2 Degrees supplied modem is a Fritz 7490z, my brother has tried both ports on the modem for plugging the phone into.
There was no "switch-over" at the house as such, it was all done at the cabinet.
He has rung 2 Degrees helpdesk to no avail (Well the help desk says everything looks good their end).

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Terry

Hi all,

I'm embarrassed to say this seems like user caused.
Both my nephew and my brother were moving to 2 Degrees.
My nephew was moving sooner but had not recieved his Fritz box, BUT my brother had recieved his.
Soooo (you can see where this is heading) my nephew borrowed my brothers Fritz box and then gave by brother his Fritz box when it was recieved.
Guess what, only one of those accounts/Fritz boxes had a telephone number attached to it.

My nephew checked his fritz box and sure enough there were calls missed to a phone he did not have.
The phone number is locked down to whats provided by the ISP is what both my brother and nephew have learned.

Thanks VERY much
