How to contact Luke from MyRepublic.?

I have the same issue with radio stations on 2Degrees as I did with MyR.

Luke was able to make my preferred stations work for a few months, a difference to the 2D support, who seem to put it in the 'too hard' box.

All they do is reset the connection every time, and imagine it is fixed.

cheers CD

Solved – “shooting myself in the foot”

Well what a d**khead I am, I had completely forgotten that I have a nas of videos for clients to view or download from, attached 24/7, hosted by buffalo.nas. So when I thought that I had all devices disconnected with the exception of my main PC, that wasn’t true.

I assume that when the http radio station’s streams where being rebuffered > reconnected it was coincided with someone accessing the nas, through my network, and I wasn’t aware of that traffic. And when it appeared that the tech support at MyRepublic had found a temporary fix that would last a few months, it was just coincident with no one accessing the nas, perhaps.

Also traceroute results to somafm.com showed no connections being unable to connect within 200ms, so saturation, as many forums posters had deduced, seems the culprit.

Earlier issues with intermittently loosing network connection to the media players (through adjacent wifi and microwave interference), and at the same time having the rebuffering issue, was distracting to say the least, so I’ve learnt that even though similar problems seem connected, that they may be two completely different issues.

So thanks for trying to help me out and I apologise for not spotting the issue on my own network, before making any comment or complaint.
Cheers CD
