Just got my login back for the 2degrees website and see that the website lists a strange charge once a month

Usage Type - Charge type - Mins/MB - Charged units - Amount
GPRS DAT 0.00 1 $0.01
GPRS DAT 0.00 1 $0.01

It's not exactly a significant amount but I'm just curious as to what this 0mb $0.01 monthly charge is since my phone can't use data/web browser (blackberry without certificates).

Hi there Xor,

The Blackberry may be regularly polling online or some background process may be using the gprs connection which doesn't need to be explicitly given permission to use the GPRS connection in a Service book.

That aside though, we have the facility to disable the GPRS connection from this end. If you would like to PM me your details and I can have this organised. You can at a later stage request to have this re-enabled again IE purchase of a new phone.

Cheers

^MD
