Hi All, checking my wife's account for last month & I found some 50 charges to a +44 text number.  She insisted she wasn't conducting a secret affair with a Pom, so I assumed some rogue Facebook game app she was playing was doing the deed. However, googling the number suggested it was a FaceTime activation number ( she's using iPhone 4s with latest software update).

She works at the fringe of 2 degrees cover, so her phone switches back and forth several times a day from 2 degrees to Vodafone.  She often gets an  "activating FaceTime will incur a charge"  type message, but not 50 times a month.

She doesn't often use FaceTime, but does use it occasionally so doesn't want to disable it.

It's not a big cost, but is an annoyance that something is sneaking her txts without her knowledge.  Any suggestions other than disable FaceTime or switch networks?

Charlie

i thought you would have it linked up to a email address? I have mine this way and not my phone number. This should stop the txt, but you would have to let everyone know to facetime you to your email address.
