Hey, lately I've noticed my slingshot email address has been getting lots more spam than usual.

Also, i checked my emails just now to find two messages from mail delivery system, witch is strange considering i didn't send any.

one of the messages isn't even in English.

i'm not really sure how this happened, but I use incredimail for my email client and i've run a virus scan.

any ideas?

Once you start getting spam the amount of spam only increases over time as each spammer sells on the lists of email address to other spammer... I run my own mail server and around 90% of spam is filters out however I still revive quite a bit of spam filtering that gets past the filters.

Its like a little war between spammer and Mail Providers spammer are on the attack and Mail providers are on the offensive.

I'm getting a lot of this at the moment (the spoofing - resulting in undeliverable mail reports) on my google apps domain.

Hoping I don't get blacklisted.

Like davidcole said, often the spammers will spoof known existing email addresses in order to appear to be legitimate mail, unfortunately there isn't much that can be done about that, and the mail delivery failure messages will be delivered to your inbox.

If you are concerned that one of those spammers has somehow compromised your account and is sending mail from your email address, the best step would be to update your password.
Just make sure if you change your password that you update it in all relevant places at the same time.

There's two email addresses on our account, is there a way i can change mine, the secondary online without ringing up and pretending to be my dad?
