Hi all,

I've been with Orcon Genius for over a year now. However, the speed seems to be a little low. Ping seems ok at about 65ms, but I'm only getting about 4.16Mbps down  and 0.70Mbps up.
My ADSL stats are included in the attached pic, should I be expecting more speed????

Right,

How long have you noticed the lower speed for?
What was your previous DL speeds?

Have you run speedtest via a network cable directly to your router?

Do you have a master filter or are you using the plug in filters?

What else is plugged into your phone lines?

Have you tried unplugging everything else from your phone lines except this modem?

Are you in a 10Mbps zone? Are you covered by a cabinet or exchange?

Chorus SAT will tell you this.

Looks like I'm in an ADSL2+ Cabinet area. Just outside the VDSL area by about 3 houses.
