Today I was unlucky enough to go over my data cap and be throttled. However I was unable to navigate through Snap's website to add more data because it simply wouldn't load. When one's data cap is reached, shouldn't Snap's own website not be throttled to allow a user to add more data?

I ended up just using my phone to do it, didn't feel like ringing.

Also, Snap, would be nice to see a mobile compatible version of your website.

I agree with the mobile version of the site actually, but it's very difficult to rate-limit sites whilst over the cap, it's best to just do a blanket rate-limit.

But, talking to Snap isn't that bad ;)

Hi guys,

Our site isn't supposed to be rate limited when you go over your cap. Tim, I've emailed our development team to make sure your account is setup correctly.

Also, with regards to a mobile optimised version of our site, this is definitely on our to-do list over the next few months.

Cheers,

^AL

I've been with Snap for years, it's always been a pain to try and increase the cap after we went on dial up. Usually ended up tethering a phone and doing it.
