Is anyone else having issues sending mail via the Snap SMTP server?

I'm getting bounces with the following error when using it to send emails:

4.3.2 - Not accepting messages at this time 554-"<destination mail server>\nYour access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation. If you believe that this failure is in error, please contact the intended recipient via alternate means."

An MXToolbox blacklist lookup shows smtp.snap.net.nz as clean on 109 of 109 blacklists...??

Emails send fine via an alternative SMTP Server.

From [Here]

Update @ 3pm - At 2am on Saturday 10th August Snap detected a failure in part of our e-mail storage system which processes and archives e-mail. At the time of the failure only inbound (receiving) e-mail was affected. Outbound (sending) e-mail was fully operational during this period.

Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue as a top priority and any e-mails that were sent to you on Saturday 10th August should now be delivered. E-mail stored in the Snap e-mail system prior to 10th August will be migrated progressively onto the new storage system.

Please note this only affects e-mails located in Webmail / IMAP and any e-mail’s that you were yet to download.

We will be posting regular updates on our website support page, Twitter & Facebook, so please check there first before contacting our call centre.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this outage has caused and please be assured that we doing everything possible to migrate the e-mails as quickly as possible.

It says it's mail coming in only, so smtp.snap.net.nz /should/ be working, but with all mail issues when trying to fix they might have broken smtp also.

Yeah, despite what they say, I'd say that that would be the most logical reason for outgoing issues.

We've been targeted by spammers a number of times this last week, but snap looks to be OK according to senderbase. Once they get stopped by one ISP they often work their way around the rest until they get a bunch of gullible users who's email accounts get compromised through phishing emails.

Senderbase - NZ lookup
