I have a galaxy s4 (telecom nz rom) on 2 degrees. Can I use this as a snapper card? I just bought a regular card yesterday for 10 then I realised maybe I could of got a snapper sim. Does it work with s4 yet. How much are the sims? Can I transfer the balance of my card or keep my card and have them linked to the one account?

No, you need a handset with the appropriate firmware supporting the required secure calls. either get one from 2degrees or flash a valid ROM.

You can't have a "shared account". You can transfer the balance from a card to the phone.

Ahh... Thanks. So it's doable but highly annoying.

Having a "shared" account is impossible. The balance is stored on your card so there is no possible way this could ever work.

According to the Snapper website they still haven't got it working with the S4
http://www.snapper.co.nz/what-makes-and-models-of-smartphones-can-use-the-full-functionality-of-the-snapper-mobile-app/

The last time I asked I was told "Christmas".  They did not specify which Christmas ;)

That's pretty disappointing it will be closer to the release of the s5 when the s4 is ready.

Yeah, I have to say I'm not overly impressed about the performance of Snapper on this model.

One of the reason I'm still with 2 Degrees is that I'd like to use my phone in place of my snapper card.
