Hi Folks,

So I've just signed up for an Orcon Genius unlimited ADSL2+ plan and I'm coming off an Xnet ADSL2+ connection and had only just recently purchased a Cisco SRP521 to meet Xnet requirements after my old modem packed a sad, does anyone have any advice on whether the Cisco SRP521 will work with Orcon Genius as I've not been able to find any conclusive advice and if it does should I use the Cisco or the Orcon modem?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It will work but is totally unsupported. You'll have to configure everything yourself including establish your SIP credentials by extracting these from your Genius.

To be completely honest if you need to ask this question you're better off using the Genius.

Ah, we can easily move you off Genius, onto LLU.
Then you can use the Cisco (no auth details needed) and use your jackpoints as you used to.
Just drop the team a line and they can sort this for you.
Cheers
