I have just been on the phone to one of your staff who has informed me that as an existing customer I cannot take advantage of this deal. She was excellent and forthcoming with a workaround however that means losing my accumulated minutes/data and going through the whole credit check new account procedure

Is there a firm plan to offer this option to existing customers and if so what is the expected time-frame? My phone died, I'm on a borrowed phone and money is tight so it would be ideal if I were able to get a replacement through this option ASAP

You do know that this isn't an official support channel right?

You might get a response, you might not.

In the end I went ahead with the work around and managed to take advantage of the MRO by reverting to prepay then resigning back onto a Freedom plan. After some of the worst ever customer experience ever at Manukau Westfields branch I went across to the Sylvia Park branch and was impressed well beyond expectation at the professionalism and quality of service, I had to go back in the following day to complete the transaction and even with different staff the service was still of the same high calibre, so top marks all round 2D!!!

Hi Wade

Thanks for your comments and sorry for any delay getting back to you.

Glad to hear you had a good experience at the Sylvia Park store but concerned this wasn't the case at Manukau. Would you mind sending us a PM with details on what happened please.

Yes, we've introduced new MRO plans that offer the iPhone 6 on a Freedom plan for just $29 upfront.  More great value coming at you from 2degrees! :)
