Is Caller ID available on Orcon POTS landlines?

Also, can you have your number withheld so people can't see it?

Yes I've got caller ID on my POTS line (and they don't charge extra for it). I'm not sure about blocking your number though.

Try dialling 0197 before phone number when you want to withhold CID.

Cheers, I'll have to investigate further as to why Call ID doesn't work.

Right I had a look at the Orcon services page (modify my plan) and it looks like I'd have to pay $10 a month to get Voicemail which includes call waiting and caller id.

At least I understand why it isn't on our phone now.

Cheers!
