Not yet. Will do it tonight.

Here is to hoping it has fixed my DECT CLI problem.

Anywhere where I can see the release notes in English?

Since mine was not on provisioning correctly, its been added to their management pool which runs customised beta.

So be warned this could break things if you overwrite..
(especially as it appears overseas VoIP provider changes)

Never realized there was a telnet option to the Fritzbox.
Does it support ssh?

My fritzbox works perfectly now, I'll let snap push this out if they decide to do so.

Upgraded when I got home. Nothing much changed.

Still experiencing the Caller ID issue on my Panasonic DECT phone. Was hoping that this would have been fixed!

if you mean caller id doesn't work I doubt this is an issue on the AVM side of the equation...

I wrote about it in this thread as well:

I have successfully registered my 7490 Fritz Box with a new Panasonic KX-TG2721 (got it free with flybuys and it apparently includes DECT-GAP). Configured as a DECT phone.  Its all working very well except for the caller ID.

When connected via the RJ11 ports as a standard analogue phone the Caller ID works.  Anybody found a solution to the caller ID problem yet?

Otherwise are there any other recommended Panasonic DECT phones out there that work properly?

Edit: PS I'm with 2talk.

According to Wikipedia:

"GAP-conformance enables DECT handsets and bases from different manufacturers to interoperate at the most basic level of functionality, that of making and receiving calls."

I'm not sure what the actual GAP spec says, but by the sounds of the above, things like caller id aren't part of it.  I believe more expensive phones (siemens/gigaset(?) etc) do support caller ID with the fritzbox, but I wasn't all that surprised when my panasonics didn't because, well, you get what you pay for.

Updated this morning. No problems and I'm on VDSL2 (made an account just to post this for the benefit of those who might be nervous about updating on VDSL, since just about everyone here seems to have fibre). I'm connected to an Ikanos DSLAM.

I updated to 6.30 last Sat.  So far it seems good and Webb pages seem to load faster.  I am on fibre.

Just updated my 7490. My VDSL download sync speed has jumped from 31mbit/s to 33mbit/s.
Cool, all take that thanks.
