There seems to be a mobile network issue tonight (Friday 29th), at least in Auckland. spoken to people around South Auckland in the last few minutes with the same issue. No calling or SMS at least. Anyone else having issues?

ETA: Nothing on their Status page as I type this, in fact right now the site is down, perhaps from everyone trying to find a network status update!

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Yep, same thing here down in Wellington - no SMS.

Also the 2degrees website is giving me a 502 bad gateway error - I think they're having a bad night.

I'm also confirming that calling is down. I've got several colleagues trying to dial into a conference call from their 2degrees mobiles, all running into the same issue.

According to downdetector, people are reporting the same issue from all over the country.

Dead here in Whangarei as well for the last half hour.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Yep.

Lucky I activated a Skinny SIM this morning as a trial in my 2nd SIM slot so @ajobbins could still call me just before.

Yeah, me too, currently in Christchurch, thought it was because I'm on the edge of the city but no service at all.

They just need someone to turn it on and off again. Maybe @SaltyNZ can do that.

What, you mean that last thing on a Friday afternoon isn't the best time to apply a major update?
