For some reason my dns frequently fails for the contact energy website (chrome gives error DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN) but it works fine from azure machines, work connection, etc.

It seems to be every monday morning (I think)  Could some other folk on  2 degrees try this? Or other ISPs.

It's likely DNS issues on your PC unrelated to contact.co.nz, I just dealt with the same thing yesterday on an HP / Windows 10 machine.

Follow the steps here: https://www.wiknix.com/how-to-fix-dns_probe_finished_nxdomain-in-chrome/

(contact.co.nz working on BigPipe and 2degrees mobile)

It's happening from a windows and ubuntu machine, and my android phone, when connected to my home internet.

Are you using 2degrees DNS?

Try changing to Google DNS on your router (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4).

Works fine for me on 2deg fibre. And works in both Firefox and Chrome.
