Since we couldn't download, well pretty much anything for over a week (and still going on) are we going to get some kind of compensation for this time that we couldn't download anything???

I was thinking something along the lines of:
  • Getting credited for the week and a bit we couldn't download.
  • Add 10GB of data to next month.
  • Something...

I doubt it very much. You'll get the usual international bandwidth excuse and a 'sorry', but that's about it. I'm paying $60 with a 20GB cap, and at the moment I may as well have a 2MB cap because I can't download a damn thing. Case in point. I started a download 8 minutes ago. It took 5 minutes to bring up the Save dialog and is currently downloading at an amazing 348 bytes/Sec. I don't have issues with the router as it gets switched off every night, so they can't use that as an excuse. Browsing international sites is not a problem.

Hahaha, yea I think most people on Orcon at the moment are having the same kind of fun Smile
(Apart from me, I have ways of getting around it and still getting max speed on all downloads :) ) (hint hint, proxy/VPN.)

But yea I didn't think they would ether, but it's would be nice.
