I've been trying to dig around looking for options to toggle the wifi access for a specific SSID without using the management console. The parental control apps on the market don't suit my needs, so figured I'd just make my own (for practice basically and trying to avoid buying another router to manage it as well).

I couldn't even SSH onto the router, so didn't get far nosing around or googling to see what other people have done. Appreciate any suggestions, or even a response to say it's not possible.

Thanks.

Well depending on how secure the user interface is for the accesspoints then you might just be able to wget the url to turn wifi on and off or something? Basic auth is easy on command line, if its a form then you can often get away with just 2 requests - one to the login page, and then one to the configuration submission page.

That put me on the right path, thanks. It's just Basic Auth, so I could just watch the network call for the switch I needed and add the auth to that. Have it toggling in Postman, which is all I need from the router.
