My new 2D UFB connection went active this morning however the VOIP line isn't active yet. FRITZ!Box 7560 reporting error 403, specifically "Registration of Internet telephone number 03339XXXX failed. Remote site reports reason for error 403"

The old line to TEL 1 ONT is already inactive (Spark). Is this supposed to take sometime to get up and running or has something gone wrong?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Once we get confirmation that you're connected, we'll request for the landline to be brought across but this can take a day or two depending on your old provider.. SIP Error 403 is "forbidden", meaning we most likely haven't enabled the number yet.

If it's still not working, either give our helpdesk a ring on 0800 022 022 opt 9, or PM us your customer number, name and address, and we'll get you sorted :)

Cheers,
^BRM

Hiya,

If your moving from another provider it needs to have the phone number ported to the new provider (think of it like a directory/whitepages). A piece needs to happen on both sides - As per above, call 2degrees customer care on 0800 022 022 opt 9 and they should be able to assist.

Nick.
