I have 2degrees at home, and yesterday around 11:15pm both the fibre connection and the phone went dead.

Have been home today, and the phone might have been down, but have not had any problems with the fibre connection.

Are they trying to update hardware at 2degrees the last evenings?!

I lost connection about 30 minutes ago (22:30). Restarting phone didn't help, but activating and deactivating flight mode seems to have restored it. Weird. First time I've seen that happen - Galaxy S7

Bugger. Went out again and it lost connection 20 minutes later and the flight mode toggle didn't help :(   Quietly hoping that it's a 2 degrees network fault and not my phone...

Damnit man, now everyone will know! It's supposed to be a secret!

Ironically, the truth is the exact opposite - the rating engine subsystem of the charging system was having a bunch of OS patches applied to keep up to date for security purposes. The HA on that subsystem has been known to cause trouble in the past and this time it was indeed unhappy with how long the primary was down for patches. :-/

Free support coffee and hugs were offered to all of the unfortunate operations people involved.

Does that offer extend to customers that were having a fit while you were down? ;)

In other words: Where can I collect the hugs and coffee (tea)?
