Hi all,

I'm trying to install a Deco m5 as my in home WIFI and need to setup my Netcomm NF4V in bridge mode.

Orcon support are not trained in bridge mode so haven't been able to help

I've found this article https://support.netcommwireless.com/sites/default/files/BCS-NB604n.pdf that provides the ATM settings but can anyone assist with the settings for eth?

thanks in advance for any assistance the community can provide

FS

If you are on Fibre, you would want to connect the Deco direct to the ONT. Bridge mode is more something you would use if you were on VDSL. As long as the Deco can tag a VLAN on the WAN port, you will be away laughing.

Do you use a landline phone through the Orcon router?

As pointed out you don't want bridge mode - no such functionality exists on the router because there isn't such a concept doesn't exist for USB.

You should hook your Deco direct to the ONT setting VLAN ID of 10.
