Hi,  I have just switched over to Orcon.  With my previous ISP I was able to have pfsense connected to the ONT using PPPoE and everything worked great.

I know Orcon uses IPoE which should be just DHCP, and VLAN10.

I have re-configured the WAN interface on pfsense to use DHCP, and added VLAN10 as well, but despite doing that pfsense does not receive an IP Address.

I'm racking my brain here.  Is there something I've missed.  I see some people have done this already, so if you have keen to understand how you got it to work.

Did you get this solved? I am planning to move to Orcon with pfSense and presently all works fine with Bigpipe.

Nope. But I believe it's because I have a VOIP service as well. They have locked the connection to their modem. I'm guessing it's based on MAC. I just haven't had time to try.

But Orcon do not allow 3rd party devices onto their VOIP network as I have also found out. Which is a shame so I will likely move that away to another provider.
