Anything better than the supplied vdsl modem?

Can slingshot provide something better?

I wouldn’t say it’s bad but Wi-Fi could be better

Have setup some port forwarding and static IP for some PCs on the network and have had some issues with that.

I have a ASUS router that is decent

Can I use the isp modem to trap internet then use the ASUS router to do all dhcp allocation and port forwarding at all?

Hi, yes you can in many cases put the "modem" in bridge mode and then use your preferred router behind that, not sure if I personally would state an ASUS router as a reasonable preferred device, but each to his own.

So exactly what modem/router device have SS supplied.
