Hi, it's the eve of the US election here, and I'm trying to enjoy all the coverage. I'm unable to stream any Youtube or other content reliably. A US site I normally get fairly decent speeds from is crawling along at 19 K per second.

Is anyone else experiencing poor international speed at present?

I'm in Christchurch. Snap say the international connection looks OK and they can't explain why it's suddenly slowed down like this.

Yes, I'm currently getting around 20Kbyte/sec from our server in California. speedtest.net shows speeds of around 400kbit/s to LA.

We've been seeing very variable International speeds over the past month or so, peak time soeeds especially being quite poor. I've sent through various speed tests, traceroutes etc. to the helpdesk and had a response that they were looking into it on the 12th Oct but nothing further as yet.

Thanks for the reply. I had one poor evening last week, but it's been fairly OK most of the time.

For me, it tanked at about mid-day today. I don't know if Snap monitors this forum, but perhaps others having problems could let them know, because apparently right now they see no issues.
