Interested to know other people's experiences. I had to wait a long time on the phone today - calling the local medical practice to book a covid test for a family member.

Wife called it in the morning and gave my phone. I missed their first call so when I saw it I called back - bummer because that put on a 90-minute wait pattern (thank $deity for Bluetooth earbuds).

In the meantime I missed five calls from them. At no time my phone beeped or showed another incoming call.

Interesting the unanswered incoming calls are shown on the call log but they were never announced.

Could it be because I was using WiFi calling on the first call?

The handset is running Android 11 with the standard Google phone app.

@freitasm - I know the exact feeling. I occasionally had happen that on my iPhone with 2 Degrees too (also with the wife... my wife that is).

I haven't been able to consistently replicate it and haven't experienced it since switching carriers.

I think you should wait for 30 mins to 1 hour to see if the NAT state table expires on your router as I expect all Wi-Fi calling is over UDP as it’s just VoIP if the handset isn’t constantly pinging the registration server then weird timeouts occur.
I hate voice.

I used to experience this on 2D using wifi calling sometimes. Not consistent, and back then was running a Galaxy S10 with Android 11 and the standard S10 dialer.

Quite often I'd be notified of a missed call when connected to wifi, and phone hadn't rung.

No problems with this now since moving provider with the S10 or now S20+
