I'm wondering if the 'Homehub' (possibly branded as something else) is sold in NZ? I realise that I could just rent it for $5/month from Orcon but I'm just curious.

Cheers.

AFAIK Orcon are the only ones using the homehub in NZ.

The reason we use it is because its made by the same people as our DSLAMS/MSANS, so they work well together.

If you buy a 3rd party homehub, it won;t have the TR-69 settings in it, so Orcon can't manage it for you if you get into trouble with it. If you really one a homehub I would recommend renting one, for this very reason.
