Does anyone know what the deal is? they twittered this:

We want to try and help people connect with family and loved ones in the Pacific. So for the next two weeks we will... http://bit.ly/aWmiz

but the link goes to their Facebook page but the page doesn't seem to be there anymore.

So what i want to know is what are they offering for two weeks.

For the next two weeks, you can call Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga, for up to five minutes, and it will be free.

Vodafone are also making a plan - I think calls over there are free for the next two weeks. This is based within their own forums

With so many people affected by the earthquake and resulting tsumani in the Pacific, we wanted to do our bit to help in the best way we can by keeping people connected.
With this in mind, we have offered free calls (with a 5 minute cap) to Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga. The initiative commenced on the 1 October and will run until October 15. The five minute cap is an attempt to encourage people to limit their calls so that everyone who needs to can get access to the lines. We charge standard rates after the first 5mins of $1.44/min.
