So T/C bigtime ended decided to switch to slingshot based on price and data caps (5 person flat) Signed up with slingshot on the 8th and we are still not connected yet after many calls to there help desk just got told it could be another 10days and our billing cycle with Telecom is due to renew by then.
Is it unreasonable for me to expect an isp to connect someone up in less than this time frame?
Or should I consider another ISP that wont mess us around? Any suggestions for a flat that will use 100-150gig a month willing to pay $150-/+ per month (oh and must have reasonable latency times on modern warfare 2 ;) ) or should I give slingshot more time?

Count yourself lucky that you've been able to talk to someone at all. I've called twice in two days to join the All You Can Eat plan but both times have been told I can't talk to anyone by an intermediary call centre rep. WTF?

Anyone had any experience with this company?
There naked 100gig looks good with the exception over the over charge.

My Slingshot connection is awesome.

All You Can Eat will be good, it's well thought out and blows Big Time right outa the park. They are training more call center staff at the moment to deal with the recent influx of signups.

If RS premium supports https downloads then you might get better speeds.

i just clicked on the join now button on the website and the 892000 number appeared.  pressed the option number to join when it answered....was told the wait would be 7 minutes both times.  at 5 minutes someone answered and told me i can't talk to anyone.  bizzare.  left my number once, no callback.  was asked to leave a number again but told them it's not convenient for me to be called back, hence i was calling them.

i don't mind paying the disconnection fee if the service turns out to be crap.  it's worth a shot though imo
