I was expecting to find that Orcon....

had a broadband plan that is at least equal to Telecom's 40gb Pro Plan but I couldn't find one.

Is that correct?

I just want to leave Telecom - they're not worthy of my custom.

What's wrong with telecom, that makes them worse than any other ISP. Personally I think they are all as good or bad as one anohter. However based on my recent experience with orcon, I would rank their support as poor. ( a week to reply to an email) Telecom replies the same day.

I recently (last month) moved back to Telecom (from Vodafone) and I have been more than impressed with the service so far, however saying that I think all the bigger telcos/ISP's are having problems with customer service levels.

Vodafone even managed to stuff up my Sky subscription I had with them (throught the HDi deal) buy not informing Sky for 4 weeks that I had closed my account, and of course Sky couldn't do anything as the account was with Vodafone (SIGH).

From what I read on geekzone only the smaller ISP's (Maxnet and the like) seem to have good or better service.
